Disposable Daily Lenses
Contact lenses come in so many varieties that almost anyone can wear them. From toric lenses for astigmatism to breathable lenses for dry eye. There are many choices of wearing schedules including monthlies, bi-monthlies, overnight lenses, and dailies. At our eye doctors offices in St. Charles, St. Peters, Creve Coeur, Fenton and Wentzville, we carry all kinds of contacts and have many patients with daily contacts.
Byergo OD, Becker OD, Borello OD, and Bachelier OD can help you decide which contacts are most suitable for you, Disposable daily lenses have advantages and disadvantages, like any disposable item. They are convenient and clean, but they may be more costly. Disposable contact lenses are a popular choice for teens, because they carry the smallest risk for infection from poor hygiene and they require no special care routine.
Daily Disposables are EASY…
Dr. Brad Byergo says most patients who try daily disposable contact lenses don’t want to go back to any other kind. The convenience is worth it: open a package of contact lenses in the morning, wear them all day, and toss them out before you go to sleep. You don’t even need contact lens storage containers or contact lens solution. No need to rinse or rub your contacts.
One of the most common issues with contact lenses is protein build-up. However, when you wear a fresh pair of disposable contact lenses every day, you never have to worry about that. Plus, if you get an eye infection, you don’t have to worry that your contact lenses may re-infect your eyes the next time you wear them. Each pair is cheap enough that if a lens happens to get torn or dirty during the day, you can just put in a new contact lens.
And We Carry Many BRANDS…
That’s why the eye doctors at Midwest Eye Associates carry many daily contact lens brands.
