Dr. Brad Borello graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. He went on to graduate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and received Dean’s List honors. He performed his disease based clinical rotation at the Kansas City VA medical center, trained at a Contact Lens specialty clinic in the St. Louis area, and completed a refractive surgery rotation at TLC laser center. Brad is currently a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), and the St. Louis Optometric Society (SLOS). In his spare time, Dr. Borello enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and being outdoors. He currently resides in St. Louis with his wife and their two children.  

Dr. Steven Henderson received his Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education- Biology with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. During his time in optometry school Dr. Henderson worked as a teacher’s aide in the Neuroanatomy, Clinical Optometry, and Ocular Disease courses.

He completed his disease-based clinical rotation at Saint Louis University Eye Center. He completed other clinical rotations at Envision Eye Specialists and Tomasino-Goerss Vision Source. Throughout his schooling and clinical rotations he received training in the diagnosis and management of diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Dr. Henderson has worked with Midwest Eye Associates throughout his time in optometry school and has received mentorship and training from Dr. Huff. Dr. Henderson is working with Dr. Huff to assist in his transition to spending more time with family. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Henderson is from Washington, Missouri and now resides in the Saint Louis area with his wife, Megan, and their daughter, Audrey. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, brewing beer, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Trista Pabisz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science and Psychology from Central Michigan University in 2009. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2013, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Pabisz is trained to diagnose and manage ocular disease including dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. She completed her training in ocular disease at the Kansas City VA Hospital. She also has training in the co-management of cataract and refractive error surgery and specialty contact lenses from Pepose Vision Institute. In addition to her ocular disease training, Dr. Pabisz also has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric eye diseases, which she completed at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry Center for EyeCare. Dr. Pabisz was also trained in the diagnosis and management of binocular vision disorders and learning related vision problems at two prominent binocular vision/vision therapy clinics in Arizona and Michigan. As a result of her pediatric training, Dr. Pabisz has developed a passion for pediatric optometry and is a proud provider for a nationwide program called InfantSee, where she provides free comprehensive eye exams for infants ages 6-12 months. She is also a part time faculty member in the pediatric department of the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Pabisz is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and the St. Louis Optometric Association. She is also a volunteer doctor for the Eye Care Charity of Mid America, where she provides eye exams and glasses for students at local area schools. Personally, Dr. Pabisz lives in the St. Louis area with her husband, Ben, daughter and their dog, Wesley.

Dr. Kristin Doerfler graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences.  She then received her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. She graduated with honors and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society. During optometry school, she was the President of the National Optometric Student’s Association, a student-run organization that helps to promote the presence of minorities in eye care.  

She completed her disease-based clinical rotation at the Kansas City VA Hospital and is trained to diagnose and manage ocular disease. While still a student, Dr. Doerfler was able to participate in a OneSight Mission trip to Kansas City, Missouri that helped to provide a free eye exam and glasses to over 100 children. She has since been awarded for excellence in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy for her work during clinical rotations.  

Dr. Doerfler is originally from O’Fallon, Illinois and now lives in St. Peters with her Fiancé, Dan.  They plan to get married in the Fall of 2023. In her free time, she enjoys listening to True Crime podcasts and spending time with family.
